At Georgia Cyber Academy, kindergarten is not too early to take advantage of the benefits of 21st-century learning. Young children enjoy engaging with technology and anything they can hold in their hands. It's how they learn best! That's why our online learning program has been so successful helping families in Georgia with kindergarten students.
Your child's teacher provides instruction in regular live, online Class Connect sessions and is there to offer help. We also provide plenty of online tools to make your child's learning successful. As your child's Learning Coach, you or another responsible adult, provide about 3 to 6 hours of daily support.
Kindergarten at Georgia Cyber Academy includes courses in math, language arts, science, history, and art designed around your child's Individualized Learning Plan to make the most of these important early years.

What is a MIC and how do I use it?
The Monthly Instructional Calendar (MIC) is used for each grade level in elementary school, Kindergarten through 5th grade. Learning Coaches should reference the MIC each day as it will guide students on what should be accomplished. Students should follow the MIC to complete the MIC assignments and lessons assigned each day. If not completed by the end of each grading cycle, a 0 will be earned. These assignments provide valuable information about student progress that help us focus our instruction in class connect sessions. Class connect session information and assessments that students are required to take during class are also included on the MIC. It is required that GCA elementary school students follow the MIC daily.
