Beta Scholastic League

Beta Scholastic League is a nationally recognized club that emphasizes on achievement, service, leadership and character. All members need to have a 3.0 GPA and keep a 3.0 while a member. To join you will need a recommendation and commitment contract that will be sent to you by a club sponsor. New members also pay a $15 new member fee. Beta League members are the leaders of GCA.

Book Club

Book Club is a group of students who share one thing: a love a reading! Throughout the year students meet twice a month to share their thoughts and ideas about novels previously read and vote on a new novel to read. We choose novels of a variety of genres and authors, so everyone in the club has a chance to read something they know they like and are exposed to new stuff, too!

Compassionate Students Club

The Compassionate Students Club is a group that helps people connect with one another through empathy and acts of kindness. Often times, empathy is developed through acts of kindness, so the compassionate club provides ideas and opportunities to give back to the local community and to inspire fellow peers.

Feminine Expressions Health & Wellness

This club, open to all female high school students, is dedicated to exploring the mental, physical, and spiritual realms of being using exercises that incorporate the Expressive arts, physical exercise, meditation, and discussion. French Honor Society

The French Honors Society (Société Honoraire de Français) is designed for students who have achieved high levels of academic success as well as a deep understanding of the French language and culture. Students must be enrolled in or have completed their fourth semester of French in order to be eligible. Students must have completed a full semester in the High School to apply.

Game Design Club

The game design club will be an open ended, and collaborative club that explores the advanced systems of the game design process. This is your chance to design a game from start to finish, from design, funding, to packaging and release, all while in the company of one of the greatest game designers of this generation.

National Honor Society

The GCA chapter of National Honor Society inducts by invitation only. NHS invites members based on GPA from last year. Invitation will go out in September. To be invited to NHS you must be a Junior or Senior, completed one semester at GCA, and have a GPA of 3.75 or higher. We sponsor an annual virtual talent show open to all of GCA and virtual peer tutoring open to middle and high school students.

Spanish Honor Society

To be eligible for membership in the Spanish Honor Society (SHH), students must meet the following criteria:

  • Student must have completed at least three semesters of Spanish
  • Student must be currently enrolled in Spanish at GCA
  • Transfer students must have spent one full semester in the program at Georgia Cyber Academy before eligibility
  • Student must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Student must have a cumulative Spanish average of 3.5 or higher from all previous courses

Student Council

Student Council is a group of GCA high school students who work hard to encourage, motivate, and help our peers here at GCA.

TED-Ed Club

The TED-Ed Club is a group of students who will spend each year exploring, researching, and presenting an idea of their choosing similar to the method of a TED Talk. Students will spend the year identifying the elements of a great idea; researching, developing, and presenting an idea; creating visuals to tell their compelling story; and using best practices for camera, lighting, and sound.
