Strong Start Steps to Success
Step 2: Strong Start Welcome Call
New families receive support from a Strong Start Specialist during their first steps at Georgia Cyber Academy (GCA). To begin this process, you will be contacted via email by your Strong Start Specialist. That email will provide you with instructions on completing Strong Start. You will then receive a welcome phone call from your Strong Start Specialist. During the call with your Strong Start Specialist, you can expect to answer questions such as:
- Do you have a working computer at home?
- Do you have working internet at home?
- Have you set up your Learning Coach and Student accounts?
- Have you experienced online schooling before?
- Do you have any questions?
To receive these important communications, please make sure your contact information is up to date in your Learning Coach account in the Online School (OLS).
If you need to change your address, Legal Guardian, Learning Coach (change or addition), or student name, please follow instructions on the Student Contact Information Changes form.
After confirming your contact information, and while you await communication from your Strong Start Specialist, feel free to begin Step 3: Learning Coach Prep Academy.
